Therapeutic Yoga
with Catherine Randall

“I have been teaching yoga for 25+ years and teach a “therapeutic” style which is about functional movement focusing on the large joints (hips and shoulders) and this translates down to the smaller joints.  We look at the body to see – what is moving that should not be, what isn’t moving that should be, and what is moving that should be. Every ”body” is different and I encourage approaching movements with curiosity and stopping when approaching discomfort (the yellow light).  “Listen to your body”!

I offer 3 classes per week, 9:30 – 10:30am, with Monday being Gentle (no kneeling), Wednesday offering a few additional movements and Friday more Intermediate, but there are always options offered. Some weeks we use a chair or a wall and sometimes other props like a block, a blanket or a belt/scarf.  Each week has a certain focus including balance and breath awareness are part of every class.  I send out an email every Sunday with the Zoom link and what (if any) props we will be using.

The Winter Session, 3 classes per week, is 7 weeks ending Feb. and is $125. I will prorate the fee for missed weeks.  As an introductory offer the 1st week of classes is free.

Please contact me by email at cathcreemore@yahoo.ca  or by phone (705) 818-3400 to register and if you have any questions.  I do hope you will try out some classes.”

Be well and keep moving!

“I just wanted to tell you that I am finding the classes so beneficial. Today I woke up with a very sore neck and by the end of the class it was fine”.  — Nancy

“Catherine Randall is a gifted yoga instructor.  Her focus on balance and strength is both calming and energizing. I find that being a regular at her yoga classes helps me with other activities like tennis, cycling and skiing”.
